Greetings Open Skies Followers! Well we have just returned from another amazing tour into the wilds of the Kruger. We spent a week travelling through the Southern and Central portions of the park and boy did the Game pull out all the stops. We saw great Elephant, Rhino, massive herds of buffalo and Lion everyday but the Highlight would have to be the interaction between a pack of Wild Dogs and a Pride of 7 lion. The pack of Dogs had some youngsters with them and it was amazing to watch how the Alpha Male tried to draw the attention of the Lions away from the youngsters by standing in the Road Barking at the Lions whilst the pack moved off in the opposite direction. All ended well and from what we could tell all youngsters survived the attack.
